Is there any rule anywhere in the BOP handbook (Fed) that says the institutions have to give Cleps, or facilitatie an inmate's education? I'm trying to do research about this for my hubby. Thanks.

The only education at a federal prison is a GED. amanda8088 10-28-2005, 04:49 PM I was wondering if anyone had heard of a place that gives used college textbooks to inmates? Thank you! Amanda8088 Try a search for "BOOKS 4 PRISONERS" also known as MONKEY RETREAT bookstore. It's refrenced on prisonlegalnews.org OR check the "OFFICE OF CORRECTIONAL EDUCATION - US DEPT of EDUCATION" I'm going to search as well. It's a great idea. Nikol |
