I do not believe you can send packages to a federal inmate. You might want to post your question in the federal forum for a quicker response. Also, you might try calling the facility where you want to send the package to find out what is and is not allowed.

its has to be preapproved ny the prison and make sure they canhave the item you send or it will be contraband.....

I am not sure about feds, but my hubby is in a state prison and he can have an approved package every six months

I wanted everyone to know this. When I was In I was allowed to receive packages but they had to be sent directly from the store where they were purchased. My mother went to walmart and purchased my new sweatclothes and socks and a new hat. Walmart Will send packages out that were purchased from them BUT they refused to send it to a prison. They told my mother that, "It is walmarts policy not to cater to inmates" and refused to send it!
