Why Hello Ladies! And Gents! I am going to be coming up to S.V.S.P. on 10/29 to visit my brother. I havent been in over a year, so I need alot of info. I know things have changed. Can anyone offer me advice on what time to be there, do we still ride the bus after we park? Dress code what can or CAN'T I wear? I am gonna be staying in Atascadero which is about an hour away I think so I need all the info I can get! I will be visiting C yard. Thanks Girls & Guys!

Here's a little on visiting at SVSP
You still make the line out in the road. You drive up and get your number at 6:30am and if you like you could now drive all the way up to the processing. There are signs to tell where to park. Or you could go eat and drive up. Its alot nicer this way. They have the first 20 walk up to the room and so forth. As for clothes just go by the book cause there being very petty about attire since we have access to our cars now. Good Luck

just make sure you dont have anything with a low v neck; tank top or no sleeves. a skirt has to go i think to your knees with no slits to make sur eyou get in. a white shirt cant be see though. i have seen them tell people to go change because they could see their bras under the shirt. no jeans; no gray sweats; no khaki pants. thats all i can think of for clothes. to be on the safe side, i always pack 2 sets of clothes so in case one thing doesnt get approved i have an option in the car instead of having to go all the way down to the visitors center.

as for the rest, lining up about 5 am still; gates open at 630 to get your pass; then drive up to processing and they take 20 at a time, starting i think about 8 or 830.
