I am white and my man is black!I love him so much.Some people do't approve of our relationship but it doesn't matter to me cause I love him and he loves me!Some people said to him he's a disgrace to black people for being with me and he paid him no mind.The way I see it is if you love someone hold onto them and don't let anyone tell you differently.If you have problems thats normal but don't walk away because of what statistics say.If we were dogs we would be color blind;wht cant the rest of society see it that way!I won't leave my man and he won't leave me cause of this widley spread issue.We are actually planning on getting married when he gets out and when we are both off probation:) !Did you know that they actually have cake toppers now that are a black man and a white woman:thumbsup: !Thats wassup right.Id love my man if he was black,white,purple or green.It is what it is.Love is blind,right!!!!!!!!

I cant say that i can relate to what you are going through personally because evn though i am mixed race i am considered black. My baby is black too. But i can say that my mum experienced this form of ignorance. :( He whole family (bar one of her brothers) turned their back on my mum because of the fact that she liked black men. My grandma even went as far as to commit my mum to a Mental Asylum (in the 50s) because of this.

Love is blind in my eyes too. Luckily my parents taught me well and were good role models. Now that i have children of my own, it really dont matter to me when they start on the dating scene, what race boy or girl they date. I just want them to be happy. :)

wow. I still get surprised when I hear about other people who get S*** for being with someone of a diffrent race or color. I've never had any problems, and I don't know anyone who has ever had a problem with interracial dating. Maybe I'm just lucky not to have run into any of those people, or maybe I just pick the right people to be around? But for me, being half black and half irish, pretty much whoever I date, it's going to be interracial. wow, I hope people stop giving you crap. That really sucks and people are ignorant sometimes.
