My husband is currently @ Warkworth, Ontario, doing 15-life. He's on his 21st year and has been denied parole 3 times. He's gone the scenic route by doing time in Bath, Collins Bay, K.P., and a few others out in B.C and Alberta.

well my man is on his way to warkworth! We're only 3 years into the life-13 ! I dont know if hell get parole first time ,but we are keeping our heads up! Trying anyways! I am moving up there as soon as he gets to warkworth! I cnat handle being 5 hours away from kingston! It sucks! I get a visit like once a month if I am lucky!

Hello Kindred Spirits of the prison 'world'. I am new to forums, postings, etc but when I accidentally came across this site and began reading the postings, I knew instantly I had to join. My husband has been in prison for the last two years 5 mos. and what an education this has been!!! I wish I had known about this site a couple years ago, as it would have been so wonderful to be able to share things with others in similar circumstances, instead of feeling the isolation I have felt since my husband began serving his time.
I would enjoy sharing information, messages or words of support/hope with anyone. My husband is in Bowden Institution at the moment awaiting a voluntary transfer to Drumheller, Alberta or an involuntary transfer to Stoney Mountain, Manitoba. Yes, this is correct...only in Bowden can this happen!! I would be very much interested in learning anything I could in regards to these two institutions. Thank you...peace be with us all. *s*...also..Luck for me in being able to find my way back here and answer/read messages...*giggle*

i have heard alot of crap about how bad bowden is run but my man too is in one of the most notorious horrible ran prisons in canada KINGSTON PENN.... I would love to chat!!

I personally don't mind saying what my son is in prison for (armed robbery) but generally we don't ask what a loved ones crime is as it really doesn't matter. We are here to support each other and most people just share what they are comfortable sharing.

My man is in Millhaven...but I just got word from him ,that he is moving to Warkworth. We'll see how long that will take!

Hey Anyone Got a man in KP KING PEN? MY kids dad is in there he apparently goty sentenced to 18- life. I am blown away. We have had no contact for about 3 years due to cops placing a order on us. It was so they could do their investigation incase i new anything..I never. My kids and i have had no contact seen him know if he is ok. ITs crrap and now this is how i find out what happened in court. I wana be there for him help him all that stuff..Most of all my kids are so hurt and miss their dad. Wasn't suppose to be like this. This is the one true love of my life the only damn thing that has ever kept me going and i am at a loss i don't know what to do.. Feel betrayed by god in a way and am so screwed up. What i need is a favor for someone to get word to him that i am still here that i am trying to get to hi. I have prepared a letter but a call from a friend a message helps way more. I am not sure if he will ever get paroled but i want him to know i am gona give all i can to get him the hell outa there.
