Hi My son will be released from Lakeview Shock in Brocton Ny soon. Does anyone know the procedure? Do I have to go get him or send him money for bus, train or airfare. I Live 8 hours away.

My son is currently in Lakeview and he received $40. when he was in reception, Downstate, for a bus ticket when he is released. It is in his commissary account. They are not allowed to go below the $40. for that reason. That is great !!!!!!!!! I understand it's a huge accomplishment and something to be proud of. My son has been in a platoon for only 3 weeks,,,a long road ahead. Please let me know how he is

Yea I also was wondering if they are allowed to be released immediately after graduation. I plan on attending the ceremony and would like to know if my boyfriend will be able to leave and ride home to Elmira from Lakeview with me. Any information would be appreciated including what to expect at graduation. Anything from what to wear :p to how he will be released!
