Hey everyone: I was doing some research online and haven't really come across any good ASL sites. A gentleman that I work with is totally blind and totally deaf. We use sign language to communicate with him although he has taught me a lot, I still want to learn more. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas? I sure would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

BabyG- Have you done a Google search as there seems to be a lot of online courses, videos etc but I have no idea if they're good or not. I am curious ,though, how you would use sign language with someone who is totally blind:confused:

I taught myself sign lanuage with books. And working with the deaf. But i bought a lot of books and would pratice at home. My daughter was young and she picked it up as well because she always saw me doing it.

I was thinking that too? Unless they are feeling the signs you are making with your hands as you sign? you should check out your local libaries .. they can help you find great information on things like that. Also look up the asl language browser.. (commtechlab.msu.edu/sites/aslweb/browser.htm)it teaches you many different words
