Hey! Are inmates allowed to call 1-800 #'s? And in ya'lls opinion would that be cheaper? Right now I only have a cell phone and his mom has to do a 3-way...but I've been thinking about geting a basic phone line...but someone said that if I got an 800 # it might be cheaper...any info would be very helpful...I miss hearing his voice...

No calls are allowed from any Alabama prison's or county jails to an 800#. My son is in Ventress and I a a business owner and have a 800#. But no 800 calls allowed. Sorry

There is a prison call thing that is advertised on here. Check them out because they can work with your cell phone thing. I'm not sure what or who they are but a few months ago I called to see if I could do that. Fortunately though I have a home phone (and the phone will transfer to my cell so I don't miss him). Anyway, check them out.
