Michael has been moved to the faith dorm at Elmore....He says it is a good thing....could it be one step closer to the gate????? :thumbsup:

Dennis is in Draper and I recall him at one time being moved to Honor Dorm (of course it didn't take long for him to lose tht privledge). I think that when they move into these different dorms that they get more privledges and it looks better on their record b/c as I understand it they have to earn their way into these dorms. I could be wrong, of course Dennis really doesn't explain a whole lot of how things go in prison b/c he doesn't want me to worry so much.
But it really does sound like a good thing. Congrats......

congrads...to the move..he is at elmore right? The phones in the honor dorm stay on all night long...Him being in the honor dorm gives him a few extra priviliages..Raymond liked it when he was in there...He says it is one of the better dorms to be in...It does look better on there record if they are in the honor dorm...

It is based on religion and is alot more laid back. Alot of times you are moved to these type dorms when taking sap or drug relapse programs where they want you seperated from the drama of regular dorm settings. You can concentrate on the programs you are taking and with people taking the same programs and have something in common with. It's definitely a good thing and a step in the right direction. It also takes time getting in one of these dorms.

Faith, I haven't talked to you in the longest time! That is great news that Michael has moved into the Faith dorm. I am sure it is a much better place and will also look good on that record! Tell him hi from me...and Joey...and let us hear from you. Joey leaves the DOC on November 16th!

It has been a longgggg time!!!! And I am so happy to hear that Joey will be out next month!!!!!!!!!! I wish Michael was so lucky! But maybe next year they will let him parole out. He has been put in for work release but they have done that before and never sent him anywhere. Anyway, the honor dorm is a good thing I guess. Stay in touch!!!!!!!

My husband is in the faith dorm at Bullock County Correctional Facility. He really likes it there. He says that it is much quiter than the other dorms. He has been in prison for 3 years and his release date is not until 2010. I was wondering if anyone knew what I could do to get him out sooner. I miss him so much. I have dreams most every night that he is home and I don't want to wake up the next morning because it is so wonderful:) I really need him home with me to help me with the bills and taking care of lots of home repairs and everything. Most of all I need him here to love and hold in my arms forever!!:thumbsup:

Well,my husband has been in for 41/2 years and I am praying that he will come up for parole next year.He has a mandatory sentence to do and that is up Febuary 26, 2006.My husband is at work release.When he was behind the fence in was in the honor dorm, that is a good thing.My husband has been in a honor dorm at every prison he has been at except the one he is at now, because they do not have one.

Michael is now plowing fields! He is not behind the fence anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He said that he is alone most of the time riding a tractor! I hope they will parole him this time in April!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
