my son was just indicted by the grand jury and now we have to wait 2 or 3 months to see what is gonna happen. i dont understand what just happend and his lawyer wouldnt explain it to me. can someone help me please?

Indicted means that the grand jury found that there was probable cause to believe that a crime was committed and a chance that your son was the one who did it. That there was enough evidence to hold him for further proceedings.
grand jury proceedings are not like a trial. The prosecutor is basically just presenting his side of the case. If the lawyer really can't be bothered even what "indicted" means, i would try to get a different lawyer, cause that's just mean. I don't know about AZ but in NY there is a basic defendant's handbook on the web that explains a lot and defines the terms they use; maybe somebody from AZ knows if there is such a thing out there?

I just pulled grand jury duty, and we did infact indict a ham!!!!
