I am debating between pursuing my doctoral degree online versus in a traditional classroom setting. I am curious to know if there is really a difference between what I would be learning, aside from the commaraderie & shared learning that you get from classmates.

I am even thinking about taking most of the core courses online and then transfer to a traditional university when the time comes to dig deeper and prepare for dissertation.
