Yes, I do have a loved one at SCC. My boy asked me to marry him one night a while back - I said yes, but I haven't been able to talk to him since! I don't have a phone he can call and I didn't even know where he was until very recently! I just dropped him a letter about a month ago, but haven't heard anything back. I don't even know when he gets out. My heart remains with his...I love him so much...

Yes, I have a very good friend that is in Jamestown. Well this is what I was told about Jamestown. Phones are a B***h to get on, mail is very slow getting in, but I can get a letter from him in about 3-4 days. He also says it's petty in there. But he is in training and waiting to get transfered out to a fire camp real soon .

Yeah i have a loved one in Jamestown too. I've been there twice to go visit him..right now he's getting transfered but that's another story. Anywayz mail takes forever for us cuz he's in Ad-Seg but the prison seems to be nice (as far as prisons go). It's kinda pretty for being in the desert and everyone there was real nice when i went to visit both times (gaurds and inmates alike) which is great cuz i've heard some stories about other prisons. So stay strong and be patient for the letter hun. Hopefully ours are both in the mail today!!

My man is at Jamestown. And yes, for some reason, mail is going in very slowly. Taking about 10 days. But coming out is 2-3 days. Just makes it hard to keep the flow going ya know! Anyway, hopefully that changes soon cuz he's been there a little over a year and that hasnt always been the case with the incoming mail. Probably due to amount of lockdowns lately. I know that I sent his package 2 weeks ago, got to R&R within 3 days, but took them almost a week and a half to give it to him due to lockdowns. And yes, the guards are very cool there....except for the female CO that was hating on us BIGTIME at our last visit and got between us at our kiss goodbye and was like uummm, you are supposed to be keeping it "short and sweet" Wanted to tell her, hey it was way too short in my book and yes, it was very sweet!
