i have not been on and posted anything for a while. i was the long term partner of a man who is currently(again) in prison in the north of uk. we recently split up though, but we are still friends.
anyway last year i started a course at college and am currently doing a 3000 word project on the effects of prison on the prisoners family. this is a issue that is close to my heart. i was just wondering if anybody with a friend/ family member/partner in prison in the UK would like to add any comments or help me with the project. i have a a short questionnaire if anyone is able to help! THANKS

Don't think I can help specifically as all my friends are in US prisons but wanted to say that it sounds like a very worthwhile essay you are doing and I wish you well with it.

Not able to help since I know nobody in prison in the UK. Just wanted to wish you luck with what sounds like a good project.

Unfortunately I can't help either as the only one I know in a prison over here is my cousin, and he's a screw so won't apply!!!

My ex-partner is currently in a UK prison. Although he is my ex, he was in prison while we were together so I'll help if I can.
