Holy Crap! This has got to be some sort of typo. Almost 7 guys in the space intended for 1? Physically how is that possible???

I wish it was. But take a look at the last few weekly reports and you will see that it has been this was for weeks, steadily rising. I cannot believe they are getting away with this sh*t!

A few things to consider. Prisons designed capacity is 1 inmate per cell even though there are 2 beds. So most prisons are at 200% right from the start. Then they put beds in the gyms. Those are extra. Then the new beds in the dayrooms, extra.
I agree that the numbers are off the hook but we are not suffing 6 inmates in a 2 man cell. Just taking away things like the gyms and parts of the dayrooms to make room for the beds.

This is the RC. Design capacity is 100 and its housing 683 bodies. SGT, the numbers don't lie. Off the hook is right, whew!
