visiting info on north kern in delano please!!!

i need to go up there too. my husband just arrived there. my concern is the drive.

Directions:

From Northern Destinations:

Take Hwy 99 south to the town of Delano

Take the Cecil Avenue exit

Proceed west on Cecil Avenue for approx. 3 miles

The prison will be on the right side of Cecil Avenue

From Southern Destinations:

Take Hwy 99 north to Delano, CA

Take the Cecil Avenue exit

proceed west on Cecil Avenue for approx. 3 miles

The prison will be on the right side of Cecil Avenue

North Kern State Prison is located approx. 250 miles south of Sacramento, and approx. 180 miles north of Los Angeles. For additional directions, go to www.Mapquest.com.

If your man just got there he is probably in reception. These visits last about 1 hour. Be sure not to wear underwire bras, no hats, no blue denim jeans, and you can't take anything in but your I.D. and one car key. My husband has been there for 4 months, it sucks because he is still behind a glass>

Did You Get Approve. The Co's Are Pretty Nice And Take Your Id And Make Sure You Get There On Time. Last Time I Was There Was In September And I Got There At 8 And By 11am I Was Already Out. Do You Need To Call And Make An Appointment? Is He In Reception? Visits For An Hour Behind Glass.
