Once an inmate is released can they get a passport to go out of the country? Someone told me that they couldn't, but I don't know if that is true or not.

View Full Version : This might be a stupid question, but.... kayos-grl 10-06-2005, 02:38 PM Once an inmate is released can they get a passport to go out of the country? Of course there are more details than that, such as particular offenses..... you can find out more from the Dept of State, Foreign Relations section. Plus you'll want to check with his parole/probation officer as to whether they'd approve a travel pass. adams_wife4life 11-06-2005, 01:41 PM u can not get a passport only if you are on parole or probation or if u have a sales or trafficing charge otherwise u are good to go ChandaMija 11-27-2005, 04:04 AM I'm told felons of any charges cannot go across the Canadian border??? True or not? I don't wanna drive to the border with him only to find I'd have to leave him behind or turn back, ackk!! |
