I'm sure their is alot of people whos loved ones have or are in Oshkosh. At this point in time I can't go see my boyfriend in Oshkosh which I think is stupid but nothing really I can do I guess. And I think he wil be serving his whole time their. If for some reason that changes does anyone know how to get to Oshkosh prison? Does anyone know the rules like what to whear what not whear what do the allow in their as like hugging kissing ect. What are we able to do when we are visiting? How long are the visiting hours anyone know when the visiting hours are? Anyone know where to go after you get to the parking lot lol. Sorry I am new to this I always new where to go when he was in jail only because it was towns i knew I don't know Oshkosh. Well if anyone can help me id appreciate it thanks

I go to Oshkosh quite frequently, it not as bad as other places from what I hear. Visiting is mon, tues, thurs, fri from 3p-9p, wednesdays are from 1p-9p and weekend/holidays are 8a-4p. weekday visits are 3 hours unless it falls on a holiday then it is 2 hours, weekends are 2 hours long. as for dressing, no short skirts, etc, otherwise the co's will make you change or will not let you in. No sheer tops/shirts. if you wear a tank etc, some co's will ask you to put something on over it. You can hug/kiss on the beginning of your visit and at the end. Most co's are pretty cool are holding hands, as long as it is in view of them. Most of the co's there are pretty decent. They a resteraunt there, but you can only order if your loved one has money on their books, they also have vending machines. You can only bring in 5.00 on the visit along with an unopened pack of smokes and matches, no lighters. You can't miss the entrance when you're in the parking lot. It's right there, pretty easy to find.
May I ask why you can't see him?? Is it because of the distance, or what. I am not sure where friendship is. If you let me know where it is exactly, I can get you the directions to Oshkosh. It is relatively easy to get to.

My fiance is in oshkosh I have been there many times. If you take hwy 21 all the way to oshkosh its pretty easy from there. If you have any questions that have not already been answer'd feel free to pm I will help you answer any of them I can. I have never had any problems visiting in Oshkosh its a pretty decent place and the co's are pretty harmless for the most part.

Thank you for the help and all the answers, i just like to know as much as possible before I would get their. the reason that they wont let me go see him is something about i'm a victim when he got caught but I guess he talked to the warden and she said to have me fill out another visitor form and if i get denied she said to try and fight it I guess so we will wait and see. I've got to talk to him on the phone twice on three way since hes been in prison when he was in jail I got to talk to him more cuz he could buy phone cards. And we write to eachother as much as possible but it stll would be nice to see him in person. I know how to get to Oshkosk I just dont know where to go from their and I dont wantto be spending all the time trying to find it when i get to the parking lot. so basically just like pants and tshirt to whear what about under garments. like wire in the bra im sure you cant whear that right? It will suck with all the rules with not being able to do more then hold hands after you get their lol but I can see their point.. so is everyone in the same room or do they work that out lol sorry alot of questions... but thank you

as for the bras, some underwire sets off the alarms, and some don't. Mine never has. Basically, just dress casual. Like I said, most of the co's are pretty decent. It is located just off Algoma Blvd, right off US 41. There are signs marked also. PM me if you want to talk or have questions.
