But it wasn't until her husband beat her so badly he thought he had killed her - and she decided to publish the photos of her injuries - that she really shook Saudi society. Wow, imagine the strength it must have taken her to come forward with this.

i applaud this woman for standing up to what others in saudi believe as normal.it is a shame that although they know the circumstances-he tried to kill her-people have made her feel as an outcast.it is more hard to believe that people still look at d.v. as a mans priviledge and these women suffer instead of speaking out.
