I've been hearing so many stories about death row prisoners who don't get any medical treatment, because 'they gonna die anyway'
Like this one guy who has a tumor in his spine, he's been on deathrow for almost 20 years and they just refuse to help him, or to give him pain killers....
Is this the normal way of handling health issues on death row?

Unfortunately, Soraya, this has been what I have been seeing. Their attitude is "why help them if we are just gonna kill them anyway". It is very sad.
I work with a group of people that try to help ALL prisoners receive medical treatment, regardless of their crime. We are called the Jeff Dicks Medical Coalition. You can find out more about our work by visitin http://www.jeffdicks.com
I am currently the President of 2 state chapters. I have Florida and Alabama. If anyone hears of prisoners in these states that need medical attention, please feel free to contact me. It doesn't matter what the inmate needs medical or dental, I will try to help them.
