Reading through the Visitor Handbook Rules & Regulations... I'd be taking a motorcycle up to Chowchilla (72 miles to the gallon makes the trip affordable). Are there lockers or somesuch where I could leave motorcycle gear? (Armored black leather jacket, armored mesh riding pants, helmet, gloves with titanium insets.)

The helmet and gloves fall under the "[n]o hats, gloves, wigs or hairpieces (except with prior approval of the Visiting Lieutenant in charge [sic]" prohibition; those can be locked in the motorcycle's top-box. But there's no way a jacket or overpants would fit.

Oh, yeah, this is CCWF.

Thanks!

If there is a "Centerforce" or a "Friends on the Outside" trailer at the prison, you should be able to leave those items with them. You will not be able to carry them inside the prison.

To close this out... I ended up just taking a bicycle cable lock with me and locking the gear to the bike, which worked, but, CCWF does have little airport-style lockers in the visitor's lobby (before you go through the metal detector / sally-port).
