I am working on a project for the Prison Phones forum and I need some help!! Pretty please! ;)

I need to know who does the billing for correct calls for prisons in Idaho and how to contact them. Phone numbers, addresses, if you have them. And any other info you think might be helpful would be great!!

OH! And can the inmates in Idaho pay for the calls on their side? Calling cards or pre-paid info?

MCI does the calls for Idaho. The numbers are:

MCI Inmate Services number is 800-231-0193
MCI High Toll Department is 800-937-1048

I'm not for sure on the address as of yet but I will look around and see if I can get it. Yes the inmates are now able to get the prepaid cards. That program hasn't been going on that long so I don't know that much about it. My honey uses the cards to call me though and it seems the surcharge is really high. He did say to call in state long distance for twenty minutes was about $7.00.

There was a calling card option, but I'm not sure where that stands at this point. I will talk to Chris and see what he knows on that. It may not be available at all prisons. It was at the state prisons, but as far as I know its not at the private prison and I have no idea if the state prisons still have it

The state prisons still do have the calling card option. Jeremy uses it to call me. He is in IMSI. But I'm not for sure about the private prison either, my brother in law never called from there with it.

Jenn, my fiancé calls collect all the time through MCI. He calls me everyday and his daughter every Sunday...he has to try about 4-6 times to get through to me since it's an int'l. call (bad MCI!!!!!:blah: ) and very few times he's not even able to get through (like today, can you feel my bad mood?:mad: :( ) I never heard him mention calling cards though...maybe he doesn't even know about it since he only calls collect.

20 min for 7.00??? It costs me 6.90 for a 15 min call here in CA and he is only 2 area codes away!

I wish WE could get calling cards! lol would save on the phone bills!
