Hey there... I'm the new forum leader for Virginia and would love some input from all of the members on what we can do to keep things going in here. It seems kind of slow and we need each other in here so let's figure this out.

I'd love some suggestions. :D

I agree completely. We need to get the Virginia forum up to speed. I rarely get any responses to my posts and I know some of yall have to know something. Even an "I don't know, but good luck" response would be great. I hope we get the ball rolling quickly, I would love the support and hope to be more supportive to others also.

i to would love to help in any way i can, mine has a few yrs left at haynesville unless we can get some changes in these new laws and which i am praying that we will then it will be not that long until he comes home, but anything i can do pls let me know all of us need to stand together and you know thier is alot of people that don't know about this site every time i go to haynesville i am telling someone to check it out, because all of us together can make a difference in the system because they have to much power over all of us, in the phone calls we support the system and in the canteen they raise the prices, where do most of them get thier money from us so they affect all of us, they take from the inmate as well as his or her family. the food they can feed them what they want to because thier is no law controlling this as well, i have done my homework in finding out things that has come up and to be honest this system stinks to much.

Hello everyone, my husband is being transferred from maryland to virginia today, if at all posssible i would like to know how things work with the virginia facility's. Are congical visits allowed? How long are the visits(regular and congical)? my husband was charged with something he didn't do, i need as much help as i can get. i don't like the way that virginia does things it's like you are automatically guilty rather you did it or not. the thing that my husband was charged with happened in virginia my husband has never been to virginia, yet he was blamed for this incident and all because of a crooked cop that was out to get him, now use guys don't have to believe me but there are alot of crooked cops out there and something has to be done about it, we can not continue to sit by and let things happen to our loved ones; we have a right to fight for what's right. i am going to do whatever i can to get my husband's freedom back. Why should he have to sit in prison for something he didn't do, (Let's not mention the fact they first tried to blame the incident on one of my husbands friends and when that didn't work they went after my husband) they didn't even have enough evidence against him, they had a so- called witness that kept changing her story and all of that bogus crap was aloud in court. i am not going to keep quiet about this, i believe something needs to be done and i won't stop until it is..just like everyone else here i love my husband and i want him home, these people that incarcerate innocent people are only thinking about the money, they get a certain amount for each inmate they don't care about How there damaging families, it's all about the money. i am going to work on geting my husbands freedom back. If anyone out there has any information that may be helpful to me Please let me know.........Many thanks in advance......GOD BLESS U ALL!

I have a few people who are in VA prisons. Sorry there are no conjgal visits. It really depends on where he is for the visits. One of my folks get all day visits, my ex only got 1 1/2 hour visits, and the other gets like 3 hours. If I can be of any help feel free to PM me.
