Just to update anyone who cares... I went for my first visit! It was great! Well, as great as these things can be... I am extremely exhausted now though:)

For those who need to know:

If you get there early, the guards aren't (or weren't this time) bad. Nice? I guess..

Anyway, food in vending machines not bad.. Philly steak sandwich was a winner with my Wes..

Line up at the gate at 7:30.. Process in around 8:00 (all in AM). Visitation rotates by last name of inmate..

Hope your visit goes as well as mine..

I'm so glad your visit went well! I thought the guards were ok. My bf had his picks of the ones he didn't like, but overall they were nice to me. Are you getting to go back soon? Ventress is right out in the middle of nowhere land..lol Talk to you soon!
