It seems like a fairly final decision has been made. My man was sentenced to 1-4 years and he can go up for parole in January but together we have made the decision for him to waive his parole hearing and spend the extra 15 months in jail (Jan.2007). He will then get off on good behavior and not have to worry about parole..at least that's how we understand it we have to check final facts. It's been a long 8 months for us but 16 more months doesn't seem all that bad, especially because I will graduate college a month before his release and we will be able to start our future together in a new place.
