Well the only thing I heard was that it was a two on one fight on the yard. I think they have a lockdown meeting on Tuesday, so it will most probably be decided then when they will come back up. Let's all keep our fingers crossed!

good new good news i got a call from my son today and he is doing good miss us alot he said told me that he got my mail from 9-2-05 today thats a long time and has not got no more of my mail yet. he ladyies are very speail to me for i can come here and talk and i dont get bad things from you all like some family dose to me they say you did not put him were he is at he did that himself but i pray that they never land up in prison for then they will know the feel them and they will think before they open there mouth about my son just had to say that. my sister got me mad today she said why do you let him call home its alot . thank God she dont have one of her kids in here. thank you for listen to me just air out.

Well, I saw my baby today and then he called me around 8:00pm. Yes, I'm going to go see him tomorrow too--I love my baby soooooo much:heart:. All yards had regular program today--hope it stay that way tomorrow and for a long time to come. This weekend might be my last weekend visiting in B yard--i know so many of the guys in there that I'm gonna miss them:(. My baby is pretty sure he will be moved to D yard, so instead of making that left out of processing I'll be headed to the right. Anyway just wanted to say hi to everyone!

Hi Ladies, Just got home--yeah a little early from visiting right? Before I start I want to say to Kailgirl if you went to ISP today and had to go through the drama--don't trip--things happen and today was one of those days.

Anyway, I'm posted up by the admin building waiting for my number to be called.:) I can see B yard from where I'm standing and an alarm goes off--where? :rolleyes: Where else? A fight broke out in the gym on B yard. So everything is on hold--you know the routine ladies, now it's a waiting game.:mad: Okay so after about an hour they start calling out numbers again:yay: and no sooner did they call out the first number another fight broke out in the gym. :shake: Okay, we wait another hour, but I'm pretty sure from where I'm at and can see guys being stipped out and escorted out of the gym that B yard is not going to get visits. :( But I'm hopeful, so I wait. Well sure enough, they make the annoucement that B yard visits are terminated today and that they were waiting for the Warden to see if the other yards will get visits--so all the of the visitors have to wait and see what is going to happen. Well as they were sending people out of B yard visitng (the ones that got in b4 the fight broke out)to leave, they had to send them back. Why? Get this, KILLER BEES. :eek: That's right, killer bees were forming on the gate that lets you in, you know after you process visitng, by the tower. :faint:

Well, for me it's not too bad--I talk to my baby everyday by phone and I'm 15 minutes from the prison. But it's sad to see all the loved ones who are disappointed and now have to make that long drive back. There are people who are disabled and some in wheelchairs, walkers, etc. And most of you know how hot it is out here. Luckily it wasn't too bad (heat wise), but it's still disappointing and frustrating for everyone.

I know things happen inside and tempers flare--but a lot of people were affected because of this. To see people cry because they can't see their loved ones--maybe this would have been their first time seeing them in years. Knowing how high gas prices are and that most people can't afford to be driving hundreds of miles--I'm 20 miles away and can barely afford that at times. Well, let me try and stay positive--like I said the affect on me is just an inconvenience but it's sad to see others go through it.

I hope if anybody got a chance to get in and see their loved ones today it was a good visit--If not, keep your head up and try again at a later date. I'll be back next weekend. :thumbsup:

The gym is where they house inmates. It's supposed to be a regular gym. Since every prison is over capacity the gym is (usually) set up as an open bay housing unit with double (some triple) bunks. Most guys that are used to single cells hate the gym and would sometimes rather go to the hole than be in the gym. The gym especially on B yard is always poppin. I'll be glad when my baby gets moved to D yard. A friend of ours called me earlier this evening--he just got out ealier this month and he said D yard was pretty cool. Anyway--no phone call tonight from my baby so they must still be on lockdown. He calls every night so if he doesn't it's because he can't. :( So I hope to see a letter by Thursday.

Sounds like your son will be having his annual in Jan. If his points have dropped they could move him to a lower level prison--like Chucky's house next door. My guy is supposed to be moved (next week) because he is going to classification. He has to be re-classified because he lost his job.

hey girls yea i went to see my lovey yesterday it was soo nice!! but yeah all that dramam sucked about "b" yard getting cancled and the bees hahahah !! i was like why on my first visit this happened hahah but i stll went in like at 12 so i got a 3 hr visit my my lovey it was beautiful to see him!!! it was packed there in c and d yard. i didnt even get a table!!! but anywho im going back saturday with his mom so yeay i get o see him again but no making out in front of her hahahah!!!! im all eraly at work today!!! but i had agood first time visit with my love!! aww im in love!! hope you girls had a good one too!!!

I have a loved one in Ironwood, he is on "C" yard. I live in orange county. It takes me about 3-31/2 hours to het there. They are pretty strict there about the dress code, but if you follow it there isn't too many problems

You need to call the 1800# to see who is on lock down. I know the B yard is always on lock down...Good Luck I hope you get to see your son

hi busymom i too have a son in byrd but honeu they are in lockdown. my son told me that they will be in it untill feb you need to call the prison and make app for one hr visit behind glass you need to call early on monday for sat or sun visit. pray you get to go see your son.

hi everyone...i'm fairly new to this website - my boyfriend has been locked up since we were both 16 - 8 years down, 3 more to go!! - i haven't heard from him in a minute, was wondering if there was any word on whether or not D-yard was on lockdown or not?

in all the time he's been in, i haven't gone to visit him, and it hasn't been feasible until just recently...i'm a little upset because i sent in my visitor's application in october and he had to send me another one in january...do they usually lose applications like that? does anyone have any idea how much longer i'll have to wait before i can finally go see him?? i guess i just have questions in general about seeing a loved one...
