I am going tomorrow morning to visit my husband in the Lonoke County jail. It will be a behind the glass visit, and we are only allowed 15 minutes. I am anxious to see him....but I don't know what to expect. If anyone has been there....please let me know.....I will post tomorrow after I have been there. Thanks for all the information....it is really helping me!
God Bless!

I have never been there, but I'm sure it's like most jail visits - you'll be so happy just be able to see him and just wishing you could break the glass down to touch him. I hope you guys have a wonderful visit! :)

I just got back from visiting Dave at Lonoke County. You were definitely right about just being so glad to see him!!!!! :D We had about 30 mins. to visit.....it was wonderful!!!:) I just wish that I could have hugged him at least once!:( He looked good. I was afraid that he would not. He hadn't gotten his commisary on Friday, so he didn't have a calling card. His cellmate let him borrow his to call me.....but he dialed the wrong number!! It said that that number wouldn't accept the call, and he thought that I was upset with him. He didn't sleep at all last night worrying about it! I told him that he has nothing to worry about because I love him not matter what, and he is stuck with me like some bad disease! :p He asked me to go get some cigarettes for him and the guy in the cell with him. He doesn't smoke, but he does dip and they won't let them dip in there. If they smoke, they get to go outside. That is the only time they get to go outside. After they came to take him back to his cell, I was locked in the visitation room!! I think that they didn't know that I was locked in there because after about 10 mins., a 309 came and unlocked the door and said, "Would you like out of there? Someone must have pushed the lock in on you?" He let me out and I left. I went to a gas station and filled up my truck and bought him a couple of packs of cigarettes. When I took them back, the same 309 and another 309 came out to take the cigarettes. I have to call on Monday to get a time to visit him next Saturday. His birthday is tomorrow!:( This is the first birthday in 7 years I will not be spending with him, but knowing that I will get to see him every Saturday until he leaves for Diagnotics is wonderful!!

Glad to hear your visit went well. I know how you feel not being able to spend his birthday with him - or any holiday for that matter. Hope he gets his commisary soon so you can get your calls! :)
