Hello everyone! Wow I like this forum. This is awesome. Just a little about me. I have 5 beautiful children from 22years down to 1 year old and a new granddaughter due the 7th of next month. I have One deathrow penpal that I have had for just over a year. I started writing to him thinking it would be a "nice thing to do" After all I could cheer him up. Boy was I totally wrong in the way that our friendship would go. He is such an awesome man. He has given so much more to me than I ever could him. I would love to visit him but can't due to finances he is too far away. It is great to see a forum like this. I can't share my feelings about the friendship that he and I have with friends or even family on the streets. They just don't understand. I look forward to getting to know some of you and just want to say thanks for being here.

Isn't it amazing how we reach out and find out that our pen friends help us more then we help them.

HI THERE,I ALSO AM IN CA. I TAKE IT THAT YOUR BROTHER IS IN PRISON HERE IN CA. WHAT PRISON IS HE AT? IS IT YOUR BROTHER THAT IS SERVEING THE 25 YRS. OR YOU MAN? WHAT PRISON IS HE AT ,THAT IS SO FAR AWAY? I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND THAT SAD ISSUE. I AM IN SOUTH ORANGE COUNTY AND MY SON IS AT PELICAN BAY, EVEN THAT IT IS THE SAME STATE ,THEY COULD NOT HAVE PUT HIM ANY FATHER AWAY! HE HAS BEEN THERE 4 YRS ON A 35 YR TERM AND THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL I CAN AFFORD AT TRIP TO CRESCENT CITY. BUT I HAVE MADE MANY ,MANY FRIENDS HERE AT PTO, THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE GOING UP THERE,I EVEN MEET A GIRL THAT MOVED FROM DOWN HERE TO UP THERE TO BE CLOSE TO HERE HUSBAND,WITH OFFERS OF AIRPORT P/U PLACE TO STAY,AND A FRIEND TO GO TO VISITING WITH TO SHOW ME THE ROPES. SO SWEETHEART KEEP THE FAITH OF POSSITIVE THINKING AND ANY THING IS POSSIBLE R I G H T !!! :wave:

welcome to PTO. Of all the websites I have seen, on just about any subject you could imagine, this one is the most supportive. There is always a shoulder to cry on or someone to give you a hug when you need it. PTO is more than just a website.....PTO is an extended family!!! A WONDERFUL FAMILY at that!!
