This might sound kind of silly but my daughter has a finger printing kit. as well as a ton of other things that would make you go hummm. anyway her lil brother got into the finger printing powder and got it all over he carpet (very light color). I have tried using resolve and steam cleaning i even put bleach in the steam cleaner with water. it lightened it a very little bit but no enough. does any one know how to remove black finger print powder from a carpet?? If so please help. I am about to call the local CSU and ask them!!!

I found some info for you, it seems they have something called Powder Foam-Away, it's made by Sirchie Fingerprint Laboratories.
May want to check out their website and give it a try! Good Luck!

I found a web site that told me to use scrubbing bubbles and blot it up. Yes that would be the scrubbing bubbles that you use to clean your bathroom!!! But it worked!!!! Don't even ask why I had finger print powder in the carpet to begin with!! I AM A FREAK
