View Full Version : Someone Please Help!!! (can't get into chat)
Bella521 09-14-2005, 07:58 PM :( To all the forum leaders and those in charge.
I am a new member and most of the regular chat people know me. I do not bother anyone and I was one of the people getting harassed the other night by another member and DeniseS helped me out, now I am not authorized to chat. I am so depressed about my love and need the support from my friends in chat. Please dont take my chat away from me. I am sad and lonely in my situation as it is. No one knows what im going through but my friends here at PTO. Please let me in.
sincerely
Stephanie:(

mrsdragoness 09-14-2005, 08:15 PM I'm sorry, but the new chat rules state that you must have 25 posts and be a member for 2 weeks before you can have access to the chat room. Those 25 posts cannot be junk posts or your membership will be suspended.
Please review the new rules here:
revised chat room policy (http://www.prisontalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=147591)
If you do some searching around PTO, you'll find a ton of support and understanding. Check out your state forum or reach out to someone in Here to Hear you.

I just wanted to add that while this new rule is hard to get used to its to protect you from members like that one. Even though right now it may suck everyone will appriciate chat a lot more when they dont have to worry about members like this. Think of it more as protection then punishment
Bella521 09-15-2005, 08:02 AM Thank you for all your quick replies. I am now understanding why. At first I was distraught about the whole thing, but I will be back next week around this time. I am currently posting lotts of usefull things and I hope even some of the forum leaders are getting use from the prayers and such! Thank you everyone and God Bless!

I am new at this so I hope that it goes well. My husband is being released 5/30, and will be going to a halfway house. Can anyone tell me what the halfway houses are like?
Thanks any information is greatly appreciated.
mrsdragoness 05-25-2006, 06:16 PM You should ask this question in the state forum that you are located in..every state/prison has different rules and different situations.
good luck

Welcome to PTO!
I see from your profile, you are speaking of federal so I will paste the link to PTO's federal area. We have some who have first hand experience in this area and are sure to assist with what they can.
