Hi! My name is Mickie this is my first post here. I wish I would have found this web site some time ago!! I have been indicted and plead guilty (only because I have no other choice) to 1 count of posess or attemt to posess 28,800 60mg psuedoephidrine pills, knowingly or intending that these pills will be or could be used in an ill manor or in the mfg of methamphetamine. This is a level 36 on the federal sentencing scale!! Thats insane!! I have NO other drug charges I have no felonies they found NO dope or other chemicals to mfg. It wasnt even illegal for me to have these in my posession BUT they claim to be able to prove by my associations and some paperwork I had printed off the internet about meth that I had Ill intent!! Anyways Ive got about 8-10 days now before I have to turn myself into the Linn county authorities and sit in that county jail for the next 3-4 months untill Im sentenced!! Im scared!! Im wondering what I should be doing right now in these last few days before I go?? Is there any possible way to prepare for such a thing? Any input or comments or advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Welcome Mickie! I know you are scared but keep your head up! AS I said in the chat the other night (and Joy offered too) if you need a pen pal I will give ya my address..just hang in there!! you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Get together a Phone list on paper that can be mailed in. Find someone you can trust to look over any property you may have. Write down all important information that you may need at a later time. Try and think ahead to when you will be inside and prepare those on the outside to better help you.
You may want to post your info here so that we may contact you and help you in whatever ways we are able. We will stay in contact with you, if you like. Believe that..

Like David said, prepare everything at home before hand and insure you have someone you trust to handle it for you.... May God Bless and keep you.... I know you are very scared right now, but it will get a little better.... Or rather, you will become acustumed to the situation and be able to handle it.... Hold your head high and remember who you are.....

Mickey, delayed as I am, Welcome to the forum.

The "system" will be in control of your freedom for a while and that WILL pass. Don't allow "it" to control your mind.

Choose who you hang with carefully, and us the time to reflect on what was and how things will be when this time period is over. Who you are, what you are and how you operate is "your" choice!

If you draw "easy time", don't fall into the thinking it's no big deal, because that will be dangerous later, as a free person!
