Hello everyone! I'm new to PTO but very grateful that I found it. I'm in San Francisco and my man was recently transferred to CCC, which was a disappointment because we thought he was going to DVI (Tracy) or Solano, which are both much closer.

Anyway, at this time I would love to find any folks who would like to carpool up to Susanville and sometimes get a hotel room. I have an old car (88 Acura Legend) that I don't want to risk driving that far (600 miles roundtrip) so I'm looking to split car rental, gas and hotel costs. My money is funny right now (in between jobs) and I can't afford to have the whole financial burden on me at this time. I am looking to see him at least once a month for the year or two that he will be there. After that he is supposed to be transferred to a faciltiy closer to the Bay Area.

Also, if anyone has any information about buses or other transportation ideas, I am open to that as well. I just want to see my baby. It's already been over 3 months since I last saw him because he was in a reception center in Delano prior to this and it's getting to be unbearable.
