So lets have an official thread... We have the thread about Which driver is your favorite... and that thread on Tony Stewart (Gag)... but I wanted to start this one..

I am so excited for the chase to start on Sunday in Loudon, New Hampshire. Mainly because hunny and I will be there... bright and early in the morning tailgating with all the crazy Nascar fans! I can't wait...

Its weird tho, so many good drivers didn't make it to the Chase. Jr, and Gordon are the two that stick out the most (I think between the 2 of them drivers, they make up about 70% of fans). HUnny is a Jr fan, but will root for any Rousch driver... Me, I love me some Hendrick boys... and Johnson is the only one in the chase.

So I know some ladies here are geared up waiting for the chase to start! Lets talk about the race... and watch it on Sunday... I'll wave to ya'll!!

Yes was sad that Gordon did not make it in to the chase.. I can't watch this weeks race cause I have to work!!!!!!

Well lets say my driver didn't make it... #8.:angry: But I will be pulling for Tony, or I would like to see Newman win it. There are some drives that I don't care about, and it looks like they are out of the race too.. So anyone can win....

This weekend is my race in New hampshire. Hopefully the weather holds up for us... as we wouldn't be able to attend the race on Monday, I'd be so bummed!

It kinda got to the point where i stopped watchin for a while cause well we all knew Stewart was gonna win.....sigh..Jerk! LOL

I'm pulling for Kurt Busch to grab ahold of this Cup win and I predict his lil' brother Kyle the winner of the 2006 Chase lol Them 2 boys are on fire and I'm soakin' up every min. of it lol

The race in Loudon yesterday was awesome. It was raining on the ride there, but by the time we got to the track it had cleared up.. and was a beautiful new england sept afternoon. We had seats right at the start finish line... Man, it was loud!!!! and so dramatic..lol
Kurt Busch wrecked on the 2nd lap! Everyone cheered... (me included)

then kyle busch bumps kasey kahne and sends him into the wall... kasey is out for the race, but before he goes... he waits for busch to come back around, and stops dead in front of him...
Waltrip ends up bumping R. Gordon, (under caution!! Dirty Dirty!)who is doing well... Gordon wrecks and is now pissed... He waits for Waltrip to come back around the track and throws his helmet at Waltrips car... It was great.
Officials called a Red Flag to "clean up the track" but I think it was more to let people calm down...
In the end Newman was ahead of Stewart... We went to caution, then back to green with 16 to go... Stewart passed Newman... and they were on top of eachother, till about 3 to go, when Newman passed Stewart and was able to hold him off till the white flag.

All in all, it was an awesome race... a great way to start the last 10 races! I can't wait to see how it turns out in the end.

Jimmie raced okay all day. He kept up in the top 10... and got to 3rd at one point (Jr even led a lap or 2) but in the end noone could keep up with Stewart or Newman.

OUr trip to the Daytona 500 in February is ALMOST all set too. We've got the villa for a week, our plane tickets... now we are just waiting to find good 500 seats :)

I'm a Jeff Gordon famy myself...however since he's not in the chase...I find myself cheering for Tony Stewart!

Yesterday's race was a tension getter! I'm sure there'll be a hefty fine....and I hope R. Gordon gets the biggest one!!! Sorry to offend any of his fans! Can't wait for next weeks race!

Ms. Heather...I'm glad you had a great time. I've never been to a race but can't wait till the day I get to go to one. Sounds like you got some really good seats! Where do you go to get the tickets and how far in advance do you need to buy them to ensure a good seat???

I'm not really sure about the good ticket thing. We are working on finding some good, decently priced 500 tickets. But for Loudon we have season tickets. We have 2 seats at each race... I inherited them from hunny... whose had them for years. we renew every year.

I'm tellin ya... if you like to watch it on tv... you've gotta get to a race. Its a million times better...

The race yesterday was a good one.. My bf and I were kind of joking about who would win and said Tony got this one what happened he fell back!! And then they were not letting him come back up until the end. And the whole time Kevin was saying Dale is going to win this bet me. I was like no way But he did!! I cant wait for the next race!!
