My fiance was just sentenced to 24months at Ft. Sill Correctional Facility. I have been trying to find information and so far have found nothing. I heard from him last night while they were transporting him in a van there. If anyone has any information about the correctional facility I would greatly appreciate ANY information concerning visitation, phone calls, restrictions on mail. He will be writing me soon but the letter probably won't reach me sometime until the end of the next week and I need to know any information concering Ft. Sill Correctional Facility or if anyone has had a loved one there before. Thank you so much! -Krystle

I do have a correction to make. I was just pointed out today by a PTO member that there is no facility in Ft. Sill, it is right outside of Ft. Sill. So I am still waiting to hear from my fiance about everything for sure. But like I said, last night he told me he was going to Ft. Sill. So if anyone knows of any facilities right outside the Ft. Sill area, No personal email addresses please Thanks again! And I will post to let everyone know when I find out 100% for sure.

I finally was able to find a phone number to reach the Ft. Sill RCF! And called them and was fortunate enough to speak to the most nicest and well-informed woman working there, that gave me all the information I could ever ask for! :D  :yay:  I am relieved to have found out what I found out, things aren't as bad as I thought they would be! If anyone is looking for ANY information concerning Ft. Sill RCF please feel free to e-mail me or private message me!! I may not have all the answers but I have the most important ones! :)

MasNKrys,
I'm glad you found the information you needed. My experience is that once you do figure out how to contact these facilities, the personnel are usually very helpful and understanding of your frustration. Please share the contact information with the rest of us. One of our goals is to have readily accessible information for those who need it. Thanks!

Fort Sill RCF is right on post, the one off post they must be speaking of is the Lawton (State) facility. Visitation is actually fairly tough, no touching at all besides a hand shake or brief (under 3 seconds) embrace. Clothing and dress code is strictly enforced. Calls are a bit more often than other military brigs, and he will probably hear alot of whining from both MP's and Inmates there about the mail being extremely slow. (MP's whine because the Inmates whine to them constantly and I do mean constantly) I was at Sill for 12 months prior to the USDB Leavenworth.
Do remind him as I am sure the senior MP's there have, no quick movements, no running and no touching the MP's. Most of the people here are straight out of SRT training or correctional training, and take a bit to settle in. (Rotations for enlisted are 4 months, officers 12 months).
