I have recently got in touch with an old H.S. boyfriend who is in prison out in CA. He's at a fire camp in Lower Lake, CA. and asked if I could find any info on non-violent prisoners getting early release after serving 80% of their time. I live in N.C. and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. If anyone could let me know so I could tell him, I know we would both appreciate it. He is in state, this is the federal forum. In California state, first time offenders are eligible for parole after 65%, and repeat offenders are eligible for parole after 85% time.
