My sister has just been sentenced to 15yrs there.She is still at the county detention center and will be transferred to Jessup soon. Her attorney said its a horrible place but another inmate in Jessup said its a lot better than Prince Georges county jail.

I have a neice there shes been there now for like 4yrs. she more or less trys to stay to herself,i no she told her mom its rough there but like I said she stays to herself and gets involved in work.thats about as much as i've been told

Well my sister has been transferred to Medium security, she is working and her visiting days are Saturdays and Mondays. You have to send money in $50 money orders...so if I send her $100 I have to buy two money orders. I also send her mail through Priority mail and she receives it in two days. I went to visit her once and we sat together side by side no barriers. The guards were nice. We chatted for a long time. She calls me through her prepaid phone account ..she calls me on my cell phone..so this is very convenient. She said the food is very decent a lot better than the jail. She has broken out with a lot of pimples and has put on some weight. She wears jeans T.shirts and nice sneakers. An inmate braided her hair. They are allowed to wear jewelry and makeup. Ill update this info if I think of more stuff !!!
