I'm just wondering if anyone else has heard the rumor that Folsom is opening a SNY for level 2 guys? I'd love to know if there is any truth to this.

From what I understand it is true.

From what I understand THAT has been in the works for a while - don't know when they will move out everyone and move in the special needs people - but as far as I know Cos counselors and everyone says they WILL be moving out the people who need to be moved out.

Are we talking about Old Folsom or New Folsom ?.

If Old Folsom, I have heard that all inmates were being moved out to either Delano II or Mule Creek so Old Folsom could be a SNY. After being moved out, they would then be assessed and moved again. Doesn't make sense to move twice but... weirder things happen....:)

That is really stupid. What huge waste of money and resources as well as stress for inmate and family to move them twice - all this moving is excessive. Hopefully that isn't true. Unfortunately that would not surprise me in the least.

Sorry, I should have clarified; yes, I was talking about Old Folsom. I had heard it was going to be level 2. If this is the case than Mule Creek would stay as is because it's mostly level 3 and 4. :confused:
