:D I just got back from my first family visit at Old Folsom. It was SOOOOO great. It was so nice to be able to spend 4 days with just me and my husband... being able to hug and kiss him as much as I want with no guards looking down our backs....being able to cuddle....just everything. It was so perfect. We basically forgot we were in prison and it was like the whole world left us. He got to stand outside at night, which they can't even see the night sky, he was able to walk around as he pleased. ANd the best part....we were together as a family, like he was home. It was just so great that I can't even explain it. Perfect...absolutley perfect. It's like we fell in love all over again, doing everything we haven't been able to do for so long. It was like being in heaven...just me and him....ahhhhh:)

I remember that feeling!!! I'm so happy for you. Reading these boards, I realize how very lucky we are to get family visits, so few people qualify. I'm going into Mule Creek tomorrow morning for my LAST family visit!!!!! Congrats!!

i too just have a family visit with my husband. its truly a blessing to be able to be with the one u loved indeed. i wanted to send my congrats on ur husbands coming home soon.
