My husband desperately needs me to send a fan to him because it is scorching hot at Avenal but when I checked out the vendors that can send items to Avenal I can't find any electric fans in the online catalogues. Do you know of any vendors through which I can order his quarterly package that have electric fans?

I know that Packages R Us offers them, but they are out of stock. Right now, everyone I can find is.

I sent a fan to my son at Solano in July. It was through California Inmate Packages. Each facility seems to have their own restrictions though. Good luck. It's a shame they have no air conditioning. I hope they have heat in the winter.:)

My baby just got out of Avenal in June and he missed the hot summer in Avenal. Just to let you know, during the winter months it can get pretty cold, try to get him some thermals if you can. There's a seperate order you can place than the quarterly package for clothing (unless things have changed since last winter).

Have you tried AccessSecure I know they have them... Packages r us doesn't go to Avenal as of yet from what I am told. Well scratch them off they don't sell them... maybe if someone is getting out soon they could sell theirs to him if you can't find one... goodluck
