I would believe him and not the record info. I would go ahead and send the dressouts ASAP. they will hold them until he is released. If he doesn't have clothes when he is released they will charge him like $50 from his gate money. for some of there clothes. my husband is at CCC next door, however, they do alot of the same BS. Everything is hurry up and wait.....but when they are ready you better be or else....you know they just try to break the inmate and anyone that is standing by him down. So with all that said. I would send the dressouts and then call his couselor to see if he will give youa date. Then wait to hear form him. Alsoif you are picking him up....you have to be there before 8:30 am or the will put him in the van....charge him and take him to SAC. I believe you must be approved to pick him up also....

Wifee1,
They are not allowed to give that information out until after the release date. I would call and talk to his counselor and find out what she/he says. Some of them can be helpful and some not. It doesn't hurt though to give it a try. Good luck!

I think it is about $50. Gate money is the money that they charge youwhen you first get committed to CDC. This is the money that they give you when you are released. I thought that the state gave this to the inmates. I just found out that is actually the inmates money. Anyway, it is supposed to help you get home. It is $200.
