I am looking for info on High Desert in susanville. Friend in receiving and i can't find what I can mail to him and how long is receiving? New to this and have no idea on how anything works all help welcomed

Right now you can send: 20 stamps, 20 envelopes, paper, (at least 50 sheets, I'm not sure how many exactly) Used or new paperback books from a bookstore, crosswords, wordsearch, magazines, also from a bookstore. Photos, 10 at a time, no frontal nudity. You can get newpaper or magazine subscriptions, but I'd wait until he has a more permanent address.

LOL on the permanent address. I appreciate your response how often can I send the mail items ie: paper envelopes etc... is there a limit on packaging and what about printed material from the internet: puzzles games etc. news stories TY

Don't send too many too fast, one package of stationary stuff every couple weeks. But I've sent 20 stamps in an envelope evey day for a week. They just get tired of searching all the empty envelopes. High Desert is pretty cool about printed stuff of the net, just keep it to a few pages at a time, once again, they have to search every page. Watch the news stories, stuff that's drug related or prison problem stories...not so good. Don't use padded mailers or envelopes with clasps, take them off and it's ok.
