Budwoman 05-15-2002, 10:52 AM THIS IS SO VERY HEARTBREAKING.... BUT BY THE GRACE OF GOD GO I..... I MYSELF, THE DAY I LEFT MY EX, HIT HIM UNMERCIFULLY WITH A BASEBALL BAT... I COULD NOT EVEN SEE HIS FACT.... I COULD ONLY SEE RED IN FRONT OF ME.... HE HAD MADE MY YOUNGEST SON, RONNIE, PULL A LAWNMOWER CORD FOR 4 HOURS UNTIL I CAME HOME FROM WORK, HIS LITTLE HANDS WERE BLEEDING. HE WAS 10 YEARS OLD. AT THAT POINT, I REALLY WANTED TO KILL HIM.....
SHE IS SO RIGHT.... WHEN THE STATE KILLED HER, THEY KILLED ALL HOPE OF ACTUALLY GETTING THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE THING FIXED...

Caroline 06-09-2002, 09:20 PM I really dont think she deserved the DP, its crazy how some murders get let off in a few years, and an abused woman striking back gets executed. 38special Betty Beets, was a woman who killed her husband who physcially abused her, she was on deathrow in texas and was executed in 2000.
Donna I am really sorry to hear what happened to you, I know you have read my posts and know my story, so I totally understand. I sometimes feel like I really wanna kill the man who caused so much pain in my life. Betty Beets should have shown how bad domestic violence is and how we should change the system, if to texas thats justice they can keep it. I am glad it doesnt happen where I live
