does anybody how long the visiting is in wasco state prison? I was just curious to know? Those are done behind glass right?

Reception is behind glass. Usually about an hour. Sometimes they let you talk more. Where my son is, there are not very many visitors for reception. Once out of reception, it is 4 -5 hours/ contact.
Make sure to check for lockdowns there. This time it is over a month. Of course depends on the yard they are in and maybe even there race. My son is a Southerner and is on the A yard.

My friend is a southerner and is on the D yard. how long do they stay in reception? What exactly is reception? Is that where they are before they transfer them out to another prison?.

Reception is where the go before they are transferred to another state prison. here the evaluate them to decide what yard they will go to and what prison they may be eligible for. If they are eligible for fire camp they will send them to a prison that is a training camp. They can be in reception anywhere from 6 weeks to 3 months.

does anybody now someone from c yard in wasco recepetion something like that if so please let me know i'm worried about my husband i haven't talked to him in months

hello, just a few quick ?'s. I just received my approval and I am a little bit nervous in going. my fiancee is currently in wasco r/c and i plan to go on sunday for the first time. we have a 5 mo old little girl and i do want to take her but i need to check it out first. I was thinking i would wait to take her when he mainlined, any suggestions? my ?s are. . . best way to travel?drive? i live in chino. how long after he sees his counslor will he mailline, then how long until contact visits? one more, will his counslor give him release date?

i have a brother 19 yrs old just transfered to wasco r/c how do i get a form for visiting? I have been reading this site and it just makes me crazy about this racial issue and i wonder were will they put my brother my dad is white mom is full mexican but my brother look white & has green eyes
and we came from a small town that has alot of african american kids
he hangs with but i know in jail u pick sides well thats crazy.

I was really nervous about this same issue when my fiance arrived at WASCO on JUNE 7, 2005. He is white and I am black and we both have child(ren) from previous marriages who are mixed race. So having said that I was a little nervous about even visiting. But he assured me not to worry. And till this date he has only tolf me that other guys there wanted to know if I had any "friends" to hook him up with. So hopefully, this won't be an issue. Let's say a prayer abou that. But anyway, I am planning to go to WASCO this weekend I am from San Diego. And I usually take the 5 all the way. and go through Bakersfield. Takes about 4.5 hours. PM me if you need anything.

The inmate is suppose to mail you form CDC 106 (visitor's form). However, if you want to pm w/ your e-mail, I will send it to you. Just make sure the inmates signature is on the proper line. :D
