I am so frustrated with the phones at the Elba Work Release! They do not work 99% of the time! Everyone that I have spoken with are very angry. What makes it more frustrating is that when you call to complain, they always say they have had no complaints from the inmates. What???

When an inmate tries to call out the phones will not put the calls through...or if they go through ...after you press 0 to accept...this very loud grinding noise starts and eventually is so loud you cannot hear each other and the calls are cut off. Oh...I still have the complete charge on my bill...never fear....but very seldom get to even talk 5 minutes! They say they are going to credit me....I will wait and see.

Joey's girl in Oklahoma e-mailed Brian Corbett yesterday. He sent her a return e-mail stating that he looked into it and there were no complaints from inmates or staff! So...I e-mailed him and he sent me a reply saying that he had already looked into it and there were no complaints..but he was forwarding my e-mail to the warden.

I am not sure who is responsible..it seems like it would be Correctional Billing/T-netix...but I wish something could be done! I am going to scream!!!!!!

Friday looked good for getting the phones fixed. The warden walked throught the dorms and was getting signatures of all the inmates that had been having problems with the phones. (Everyone) A couple of techs came in also to look into the phones. But, as of right now...they still don't work. I hope they don't sweep everything under the rug again.....I will have to do some more complaining! :)
