Hi everyone. This is kind of an odd question to ask but I didn't know if I should put it here or in the Probation and Parole board. Do any of you know what Idaho Probation charges monthly for supervision? I was in Florida this summer and got in some trouble while visiting my guy :( I was able to transfer my probation back up here, but I'm still sorta in the process of it. Florida hasn't sent my paperwork up to the Idaho office, and so I'm kinda being supervised by both states. I'm paying Florida though....I have to pay my fees, and also $20/month for FL Probation/Parole supervision. My officer down there said Idaho may charge something different.......Anyone know??:confused:

When I was on probation here in Idaho a year ago, (I am off now and free and clear. thank GOD) it was $40 a month for felony probation. :)

Cost of supervision has just recently gone up here in Idaho. Its now either 50.00 or 55.00. This change is recent as in the last few months. Now that is for felony probation. I dont know if misd. probation is the same or not.

Wow, that's a lot! I wonder why in FL its only 20...they seem to have a much higher crime rate than here in Idaho. You'd think they would raise their costs, they'd make a lot more money!

lol thats probably the reason Idaho is more expensive! FL has LOT more crime, so they can afford to keep it low! Idaho doesn't so they have to raise it higher just to make ends meet! makes sense to this Cali girl.... :)

THanks for your replies everyone. Florida STILL hasn't gotten my paperwork here to Idaho, who knows how long that'll take. But I guess I oughtta just be happy that I'm only paying 20/month for supervision instead of 40-55!! Still can't wait to only have to call in to one probation office instead of two (FL & ID!).
