It looks as though we are reaching the new Millennium marks faster and faster these days. I think it is truly wonderful to see PTO expand as it has and reach more and more people in the prisoner support system. You are all welcomed and loved here. :)
I neglected to make the announcement as soon as we reached our 3000'th member, but that doesn't mean I wasn't watching. :)
As I write this we have exactly 3096 registered members.
I remember when we got our 1000th member, Michele, around September 20th, 2002. Then our 2000th member, Malibrown, signed up February 6th, 2003. Our 3000th member is! jailbirdsings, who registered on April 28, 2003.
So.. Approximately 9 months for the first Millennium mark.. 5 months for the second Millennium, and a little less than 3 months for the third Millennium mark if my finger math is correct. I definitely think the word has gotten out about the wonderful group of people we have here at PTO. :)
Other current statistics as of today, May 4, 2003 are:
