Does anyone have any tips, suggestions on where is the best place to stay when visiting the Ventress Correctional Facility in Clayton?

Any hospitality houses, hostels or cheap motels?

Ventress is out in the middle of NOTHING.... I don't know if they even have a hotel...maybe... Your best bet would be to stay in Troy, Alabama. I did happen to see this when I was looking at a map.

I'm not sure how far Troy is from there, but i do believe that Eufaula would be closer, only 20 miles away. There are hotels there and also state park with lodging. By the way, if anyone has the day of visit for last names starting with a F for Ventress, please inform me what day the visit for August was or is...I'm afraid I have missed it already. Eufaula is the best place, I went down with a friend to see her husband, and we searched, that was the best place with reasonable rooms if you just ride and look. The road from Eufaula to Ventress is good,.
