I am not sure I understand why anyone can be barred from Visiting a Family Member who is in Prison. I can see that that person should not be a trouble maker or try to make problems for the DOC during a visitation, but if that person is important to the inmate, then why should the inmate not be allowed a visit.
How can someone who has not done anything wrong in 17 or 20 years be barred from visitation with his son because of that one mistake.
I really have had blinders on. I truly believed that people in the Justice System and DOC were fair. There is nothing Fair about such a policy..... There is nothing Fair about stopping an X-employee of the DOC from visiting a Loved One just because they were employees.
To begin with, I would never work for a DOC. I think all employees they have that are loyal are loosers. They could not work any other place because their EGO would get in the way.
What can be done to stop these people from being so Cruel to Human Beings.
