Has anyone had money transferred to them from an inmate at NKSP and if so how long did it take?

Has anyone had money transferred to them from an inmate at NKSP and if so how long did it take?

I am not familiar with inmates transferring money OUT to someone. I do know that NKSP is supposed to be on a weekly schedule of sending inmates money to the inmates mainline when transferred, however, that really doesn't happen for 2-3 weeks. They wait until they have a "full" load of transfers then send them in bulk.

If you are talking about them mailing out a check to you from there account it only took mine 1 week to see his counselor and then get it out.

It took 2 months for the money my husband had at NKSP to get to him at Avenal. I think thats a long time.

He is sending money to me. He just got his trust account statement and the balance has'nt change so they have lagged or ?. He is going to be talking to his counselor or I will call the prison and bring it to attention at least.
