I'm like MrsDragon- I am tired of mowing too:( ! Has anyone tried any of those small round robotic lawn mowers or vacuums yet?

I cant say that I have tried them - but my neighbor up the street who is blind has one he sets out in his yard about every week. My kid was walking to the store and saw it and tripped out. The guy mows the front yard himself (yes he is blind but still mows his yard and does a GREAT job I must admit ) but in his backyard where it is fenced in he sets the robotic lawn mower out. The kids cut thru there on a trail going to the store - and they are all fascinated with it in the neighborhood. Once it is done it cuts off and I guess he can hear that it is no longer running when he opens his door. His guide dog will go out and pick it up for him and take it back in the house. It does a good job - I walked to the store just the other day while it was out mowing and I was impressed myself.....LOL....the things in life that impress us!!!

That is really amazing that the guide dog can be trained to do that. I never thought about how beneficial these items would be for the disabled :thumbsup: .Thanks for the info Kelly!

I havent tried one but I do have a "robot" named Tristan mow my lawn, my 12 yr old nephew and he does it for free too!! LOL
