I have a question about hubs in NY... I keep reading that an inmate has to be in a specific "hub" for at least 2 years before he can get transferred, and then he can get transferred to anywhere in that same hub, am I correct? Okay, if that's the case, then does anyone have like a listing of all the different hubs and facilities in them? I tried to find one but I was unsuccessful. I wanted to know because Chris still has a few more months before he can even put in for a transfer, but I wanted to know what his options were so I could look into the programs at those places. Any info, advice or referrals would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

this is a link to all the HUB's in new york state

http://www.docs.state.ny.us/BWMap.PDF

as far as the move that's what i thought all the tie that they are only allowed to move within the hub but my friend just told me that when their classification drops they are allowed to move wherever there is room in the facility that has their classification!

i hope this helps a lil bit and good luck
